Low Frequencies
‘’I pursue the idea and practice of a ‘vibrational experience’ and the therapeutic effects (reduction of stress and anxiety) of low-frequency sound and subwoofers, building a body of work called BODIES AND SUBWOOFERS (B.A.S.).
The installations and concerts have site-specific compositions produced for each location. Analyzing the space specificities, I arrange subwoofers and select sound frequencies with consideration to their transparency (only noticed throughout tactile perception) as well as the ones that create other sounds such as resonances, reverberations.
A proposition for your whole body to be in contact with and shaken by different types of sonic vibrations and their impacts on our bodies and perceptions.’’

LOW FREQUENCY SOUND SESSIONS
VIDEOS
The research's live concerts are the LOW FREQUENCY SOUND SESSIONS, which can occur as an activation of the installation or in sound systems with sufficient precision and pressure. I'm curious to observe and converse with the audience about how their mental and physical faculties interact with low-frequency sound waves.
The following formats are being investigated at the moment:
1. SUB-BASS RELAXATION SESSION:
A low-frequency sound bath that explores the relaxing potential contained in sound waves and subwoofers of the nervous system and the body.
2. SUB-BASS SHORT & INTENSE:
A low-frequency sound bath that explores extreme sound pressure levels (SPL) and how vibrations can be intensely felt through the body.
3. A SUB-BASS DOSE
On an extended score, combines elements of A SUB-BASS RELAXATION SESSION and A SUB-BASS SHORT & INTENSE.
